Two Additional Beds Planned
With the success of the first two beds, Phase 2 of the garden plan is to be implemented within the next few days. Cedar boards will be cut and converted into two additional garden beds identical to the two current beds. Soil will be installed in each of these beds on top of landscaping fabric to prevent grass/weeds from growing up from underneath the beds.
After the addition of two new beds, plans for seeding the garden for the Spring season will be developed. A rain barrel with draws water from the Roof of Hayes C and gardening hoods are planned installations for the Spring 2013 season.
